Two types of IC rollers are available in the market. One is factory installed rollers and the other one is retrofitted rollers. The main goal of this project is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate IC retrofit kits.
Who We Are?
The Federal Highway Administration through Texas Department of Transportation is sponsoring a research project under the “Every Day Count (EDC)” program for “National Deployment of Intelligent Compaction” from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015.
The Center for Transportation Infrastructure Systems (CTIS) at The University of Texas at El Paso and The Transtec Group conduct this research.
